Google Play Games No Longer Needs Google Plus Account Now

Google decided to make available for users its Google play games without first needing to have a Google plus account. There will no more be frequent permission messages, signing is easier too, once you sign in once for a game you dont have sign in for others anymore.

Wolff Dobson wrote on Google’s Android Developer Blog that “We are taking these step in order to lessen frequent sign in’s in every game and unwanted permission requests for players by moving the Games API’s to a new handset. He is working to such an extent that will secure user’s privacy. The company will also change “How Player ID’s Work”.

Game players that already have a Google plus account will continue as usual to use their Google Account as their player ID, only new players will get an entirely different player ID from the previously used IDs.

This is undoubtedly a nice decision from Google to allow anonymous app users install apps through its search engine and allowing developers to create promo codes to boost downloads and engagement of users in their apps.
