Django Girls is a non-profit organization given birth to in Berlin to empower women acquire free computer programming skills. The Organization on its website disclose that one of the next place they will be visiting as part of their events is Lagos alongside other places. The organization will be training in a workshop up to 30 Nigerian Women how to build website from scratch. Its part of their vision form Women to be actively engaged in the world of programming.
Attendants will be guided into building their first websites, they will be mentored by Django Girls programmers who would delve indepth intoarears related to web developement, the organization also made provision for Breakfast and lunch in the course of the workshop.
Interested persons are not required any tuition free as the workshop is free, all participants needs is to have Good use of English and a command on their own laptops.
The Organization in a blogpost said We believe that the IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us Women Developers,
Interested participants should APPLY on time as their limited spaces. Applications closes on January 24, 2016. Participants will be notified of the status of their applications on January 30 or sooner.
